E-Learning at Kuwait University

Kuwait University began implementing the e-learning system in 2003. Since its inception, the university has established e-learning policies and selected the most suitable international academic systems to develop and manage courses, enhancing the educational process at the university. The system keeps pace with the latest educational and technological systems, providing automated services for faculty and students, and addressing educational challenges such as closed classes and mixing issues among students.

One of the most popular e-learning systems globally is Moodle, which is currently the official e-learning platform at Kuwait University.

Moodle is an open-source e-learning system and platform that supports the entire learning process, from design and use to management and evaluation. It includes a variety of tools and features that facilitate adding resources, conducting activities, creating quizzes, and assessing learner participation. Kuwait University chose Moodle for several reasons, including:
