Live streaming is broadcasting live events for viewing across the web using live streaming technologies such as multicast and encryption methods. Live streams can be for events such as lectures, seminars, panel discussions, and conferences. High-definition cameras, live broadcasters, audio and video signal transducers, and live streaming software are used to stream live broadcasts over the web. Live streams are viewed using web browsers; viewers can watch live events using web browsers on mobile devices or personal computers (compatible with smart devices) and the event can be recorded on demand.
