Videoconferencing is using communication technologies to connect two or more sites to communicate directly with audio and video. Advanced real-time protocols are used to compress and encrypt audio and video, providing high-quality video. Videoconferencing is the ideal solution where participants cannot be in the same geographical location.

      Videoconferencing systems consist of codecs, cameras, microphones, speakers, monitors, and Internet connection. High-speed Internet access provides high-resolution image quality, providing more engaging meetings. Special lighting systems, sound insulation, and multimedia switchers are also used in videoconferencing environments to improve the experience. Videoconferencing can also work with special software such as Skype, with webcams, though less engaging than hardware-level videoconferencing.
